Every week I bring you The Free Her Spirit Podcast. It’s where I get to talk about one of my favorite subjects: Feminine Spirituality.
Join me every Tuesday for interviews and personal narratives from women in all walks of life, including my own. Feminism meets the Divine. We are here to celebrate, we are here to share, we are here to bring more understanding and love into the world. Welcome!
One of my favorite things to talk about or think about is how to be a Whole Human Being on this planet. Perfection and striving to be a “nice person” doesn’t provide that. It also doesn’t keep you safe (like we are told it will — be perfect and nice and everything will work out!) I love how Ali is fully committed to being a Real Ass Woman and owning every aspect of her life. It’s something I aspire to emulate. I also highly recommend the use of ritual to bring a sense of the sacred into your life, which Ali gets into as well. Overall, I think this is a very empowering conversation and I hope it makes you feel that too, especially after the events of this weekend.
Resources mentioned in the show:
Alisa Starkweather (who Ali trained with early on, her 9 month apprenticeship starts in September!)
Dear Ijeawele, or A Feminist Manifesto in Fifteen Suggestions by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie
Henry and June by Anais Nin
You can join Ali’s women’s group Wild Feminine Un.Leashed here.
The Wild Woman Archetype Perfume can be found here.
This was such an empowering conversation and I want to thank Ali again for being on the show! Next week I have beautiful interview for you with Julie Le Carrer and it’s going to be amazing and healing.
This week I am diving deep into my own healing and claiming practices so that I can clear the way for all the creative goodness that’s opening up. I hope you feel empowered, nourished, loved and welcome. Talk to you next week!
